Bunting designs and manufactures products for the plastics, powder and bulk solids, food, chemical, pharmaceutical, textile, recycling, material handling, mining, electric motor manufacturing, medical equipment, aviation, aerospace and consumer goods industries.

Friesen is joining Bunting with a background in manufactured products marketing to the powder and bulk solids, plastics, and lawn and turf equipment industries. He will be based in the company’s Newton, Kan., headquarters and manufacturing facility.

Separately, Tony Rampino, a 20-plus year veteran of equipment sales in the food, pharma, plastics, chemical, recycling and automation industries, has joined Bunting as its new director of sales for the Americas.

Tony Rampino

Rampino spent his last 13 years in leadership roles overseeing sales and marketing departments working with all levels of an organization, partnering with finance, manufacturing and service to ensure strong teamwork and customer relations.

Rampino previously worked for Bunting Magnetics from 2002 through 2008 as a territory manager for Illinois and Wisconsin. In his new role, Rampino will be working closely with Bunting’s extensive network of territory managers, inside sales and customer service personnel to offer customer-focused solutions where magnetic separation, metal detection, metal sorting and recycling, and custom conveying can solve customer problems.

“Knowing what works and what doesn’t work is key to solving most challenging applications in today’s processing and recycling industries,” said Rampino, “that’s where the experience of Bunting comes into play. Bunting has been solving customer challenges through the use of magnetic technology and related equipment since 1959.”

Rampino is based in the Chicago area and is an avid sports fan, always rooting for the Chicago Team, especially the Cubs.
